A structurally improved burner (1) for gas boilers is disclosed. The burner (1) has die-cast top and bottom covers (2; 8) which are assembled together into the burner. The die-cast bottom cover (8) has a combustion tub mount (9). The die-cast top cover (2) has an air inlet (6) and an air diffusion panel (3) having a plurality of air diffusing holes (4). The air diffusion panel (3) is formed on the center of the top cover (2), while the air inlet (6) is formed on a side section of the top cover (2) and communicates with a combustion air chamber. As the burner (1) of this invention is formed by assembling the die-cast top and bottom covers (2; 8), the burner (1) is easily formed and assembled thereby reducing the cost of the burner (1) and simplifying the production process of the burner (1). The present invention also prevents combustion air from leaking. |
