A wireless Desktop Area Network (DAN) system that includes a CSMA/CA multiple access control scheme, which is illustrated in figures 6A and 6B, with Collision Avoidance implemented in a serial bus protocol, and an automated network configuration process, which is illustrated in figure 7, to accomodate wireless communication among multiple network nodes, each of which is shown in figure 5A.
