摘要 The fundamental principle of the invention is based on applying geophysical concepts and techniques to measure the physical properties of porous mediums and then calculate the hydraulic conductivity of a test site. Development of geophysical methods and apparatus for determining the hydraulic conductivity of porous medium adapts three primary theories of applied geophysics. The invention determines the permeability by uniquely modifying the use of the Wenner Electrode Array (2, 3, 4, 5), then rearranging the Wyllie-Rose general expression to calculate the hydraulic conductivity of the porous material. All three of the geophysical technologies are uniquely adapted and combined into a single general geophysical-permeability equation. The invention measures hydraulic conductivity of a porous material with geophysical technology.
