The gas turbine has a housing jacket (16) consisting of internal and external housing sections (17,18), which are removably connected via threads (14,15) to a flange (13) on the end of the hollow shaft (10). A hollow space (19) is formed between the housing sections, and is ventilated via a passage bore (20,21) in the outer housing section. The outer housing section consists of titanium. The rotor plate (34) of the turbine rotor (31) has a central removably fastened closure plate (35). Both plates have relief recesses (58,59).
