<p>An aqueous hair setting composition, comprising: (a) from about 0.1 % to about 15 %, by weight, of a cationic, water soluble polymeric hair setting agent, said hair setting agent being a silicone macromer-grafted copolymer derived by polymerization of: (i) from about 1 % to about 20 %, by weight, silicone macromers; (ii) from about 5 % to about 75 %, by weight, nonionic, quaternizable monomers; and (iii) from about 5 % to about 90 %, by weight, nonionic, water soluble, non-quaternizable monomers; wherein at least about 5 wt. %, of the monomers, calculated by total weight of the copolymer, are quaternized and said copolymer has a backbone having a Tg of from about 30 °C to about 140 °C; and (b) from about 75 % to about 99.9 %, by weight, water.</p> |
