Plug connector arrangement with connection verification device

The connector arrangement has a first connector housing (1) with a flexible locking arm (6). It also has a second connector housing (2) with an engaging frame (2b) corresponding to the locking arm (6). A short circuit contact maker (3) is inserted in the first connector housing (1). The contact maker (3) has two pairs of spring parts (3c,3c') which face each other for each pair. The arrangement also includes a pair of connection verification terminals (9,9'). These are provided in the second connector housing (2). When the first and second connector housings (1,2) are brought into engagement with each other, the pair of verification terminals (9,9'), which are brought into contact with the pairs of spring parts (3,3c'), are electrically connected to the short circuit contact maker (3).
