<p>A boat hull support has a pair of support members (14, 15) each pivotally attached to a respective upright (10, 11). The inner ends of the support members oppose each other. One of the inner ends mounts a pair of cam plates (25) having aligned banana-shaped cam openings (26). The other inner end mounts a follower (28) shaped so that movement of one of the support members about its pivot will be translated into an equal and opposite movement of the other. The support members (14, 15) are urged to a generally horizontal position by leaf springs (18) or elastomer blocks (35) bearing against the underside of the support members.</p> |
