Electromagnetic screening hood for individual circuit modules

The screening hood (3) is used for screening individual circuit modules within a housing containing a number of circuit modules. The screening hood is formed in one piece with one of its walls having a section (5) defined by a rupture line (4), allowing its selective removal for access to the screened circuit module. Pref. the removed section of the screening hood is surrounded by a lipped edge (7) which acts as a bearing surface for supporting a cover fitted over the access opening.
