Proposed is a method of imaging part of a medical or biological object using electromagnetic radiation together with a contrast medium introduced before the exposure is made. The contrast medium is introduced by prior art biophysical and/or mechanical and/or chemical methods into the interior of a biological cell surrounded by a membrane and acting as a carrier, the membrane being impermeable to the contrast medium. By virtue of its medico-biological properties and/or by virtue of antigenes or antibodies placed on the surface of the membrane, the carrier is concentrated in the area of the object to be imaged, and simultaneously and/or subsequently the exposure is made.
