Coking oven battery door frame and gas tight production process

摘要

Gas tight production process for a door frame of a coking oven battery. The coking oven battery has a fire resistant arrangement with attached armour plating to which the door frame is fixed. The armour plating surface profile is measured in the position where it lies opposite the door frame in its mounted condition. A profile on a side of the door frame which faces the armour plating when mounted, corresponding to the previously measured plating surface profile, is so formed that the mounted door frame essentially lies on the plating. The door frame is then place against the plating. Also claimed is a door frame arrangement for a coking furnace battery, where the side of the door frame facing the fire resistant arrangement is formed corresponding to the surface of the plating on the door frame.
