Shaped compost bodies are fertilisers and soil improvers and protectors

Shaped body from compressed compost, together with nutrients, a binder and opt. contg. embedded seeds comprises green and/or bio waste compost. The nutrient is a mineral and/or organic fertiliser and the binder is biodegradable. The shaped body has a structure material to hold it together. The green and/or bio waste is at rotting stage II-V and the binder is bone glue, wax or resin or is produced from a bitumen-latex base. The shaped body may also contain an adsorbent esp. bentonite, clay and/or a zeolite and has a water content of < 30 wt.%. The material is compressed in a mould of biodegradable plastic or braided hemp, wood or straw in a suitable geometric shape. The body can be a plate shape, with at least one wedge recess at the upper and lower sides and a wedge projection directly above or below the recess. It can be an angled profile or a plate with a rectangular surface with steps cut into the long sides.
