The device includes a structure which has fixed and moving portions (50, 52). The fixed portion (50) houses an entry microguide (54) on one side and two exit microguides (56,58) on the other side. The moving portion (52) contains two microguides (70, 72) which may link the entry microguide to either of the two exit microguides. Four arms (62, 64, 66, 68) having dimensions such that it may move relatively easily in the intended direction of motion (x-x') support the moving portion from the fixed portion. Normally the entry microguide is linked to one of the exit microguides but when the mobile portion moves connection is made to the other exit microguide.
