The present invention relates to a photodegradable polyolefin composition, which comprises: (A) 80 to 99.9% by weight of a polyolefin resin; and (B) 0.01 to 20% by weight of at least one additional polymer selected from a modified ionic polyethylene, a polyolefin grafted with an ethylenically unsaturated cyclic anhydride, and an oxidized polyethylene; and, optionally (C) 0.10 part by weight or less of a photosensitizer based on 100 parts of the sum of components(A) and (B). In addition a further photosensitizer may be included, for example terric acetylacetonate, terric diethyldithiocarbamate, terric stearate or terric palmitate. |
