The container consists of a housing (1) with an opening (2) which is closed by a hinged cover (3). The inside of the cover is in the shape of a scoop with an edge which acts as a scraper and co-operates with the inner surface of the housing when the cover is opened, transferring the articles inside the container into the scoop so that they are presented in an accessible manner. The cover opens and closes by pivoted joints in side flanges (6), and the adjacent inner surfaces of the housing.
