The determination of fluoride concentration in solutions

Total fluoride concentration in acid solution 3 of pH <2.0 is determined from the voltage generated by a fluoride ion selective electrode 9 responsive to free fluoride ions. The voltage is measured relative to a reference electrode 11 and temperature of the solution may also be measured at 13. The output voltage is converted to a readout of total fluoride present.
