Quick acting safety coupling for the disconnectable connection of pipe lines

The coupling, consisting of a female component (A) with a spring-loaded valve and a male component (B). It incorporates a lock which immobilises the male component axially once it is fitted inside the female one, comprising a ring (9) with lengthwise claws (9a) made to engage, by a spring (12), with an annular recess (13b) in the outer surface of the male component. The female component incorporates an annular safety element (8) with claws (8a) which immobilises the male component once an axial force has been applied to sleeve (10) in an intermediate position with the valve closed prior to complete liberation of the male component. The safety element is able to slide axially between locking ring (9) and the tubular body (1,2,3) of the female component.
