PURPOSE: To prevent an accident of piercing the hand of a user with the apex of a needle from occurring and to protect diseases against being infected by forming a freely extendable and contractable cylindrical body surrounding a syringe needle main body along the syringe needle main body. CONSTITUTION: A plastic cylindrical body 4 through which the cutting direction of the apex of a syringe needle main body 1 can be confirmed is formed by fixing it on the upper face of a joint cup 2. The cylindrical body 4 is made longer than the syringe needle main body 1 and is formed so as to surround the periphery of the needle main body 1. In addition, the whole body except about 3-5mm from the apex is formed by a bellows 4a. In addition, as an opening, the edge of an opening 4b is cut into a radius-shape to lighten a sense of incongruity and a feeling of pain and it is opened into a tapered shape to fit the condition of the apex of the needle. When it is used, the edge 4b of the opening of the apex of the cylindrical body 4 of the syringe needle main body 1 is brought into contact with a part for injection and a piston plug is pushed and then, the cylindrical body 4 receives a pushing pressure between the edge 4b of the opening and the joint cup 2 and the bellows 4a is corrugated and the syringe needle main body 1 is pierced. When it is pulled out, the cylindrical body 4 is returned to its original shape to hide the apex of the needle. |
