PURPOSE: To provide a transmission which permits relative rotation between input/output shafts and reduces fuel consumption by connecting the input shaft to an input element, connecting the output shaft to an output element, and connecting a generator to a reaction force element, when combination of differential gears forms the lowest speed shift. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle transmission 1 is provided between an engine 2 and an output part 3, to include the first/second vehicle planetary gears 11, 12 and the first/second vehicle clutches 15, 16, brake 17 and a motor 19 of connecting these elements. In the first speed shift (lowest speed shift), the first clutch 15 is connected also to release the second clutch 16 and the brake 17. Here is operated the motor (generator) 19 to work as a reaction force element. On the other hand, in a reverse shift (lowest speed shift), the second clutch 16 is connected, also to release the first clutch 15 and the brake 17. Also here is operated the motor (generator) 19 to work as the reaction force element. |
