摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To obtain an infrared-ray detecting device which can scan a whole area to be detected in a short time by recording a first waveform pattern when infrared rays change at the first scanning time and predicting the variation of the infrared rays at the second scanning time by estimating the influence of the output of the first scanning from the first waveform pattern at the second scanning time. CONSTITUTION: A computing element 7 moves a scanning section 3 so as to change the attitude of a sensor section 2 from a right-side detecting attitude to a center detecting attitude by controlling a motor driving circuit 9 and rotates the sensor section 2 around a rotating shaft 4 for a certain period of time. As a result, the quantity of infrared rays detected by means of the sensor section 2 increases and the output level of the section 2 rises and, accordingly, the output of an amplifier 5 rises. An A/D converter 6 holds and converts the output of the amplifier 5 into digital data and a memory 8 stores the digital data. An arithmetic means 7 which stores the waveform pattern when the infrared rays detected by means of the sensor section 2 change at the first scanning time and predicts the output of the second scanning by estimating the influence of the output of the first scanning from the output pattern stored in the memory 8 at the second scanning time is provided.</p>
