PURPOSE: To provide a compact finder device in which a reversing prism is not used as a finder device for a camera. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an image-formation optical system forming the image of a subject on an image-formation surface, and a fiber optical plate 15 having an incident surface 15a and an exiting surface 15b and transmitting the optical image made incident on the incident surface 15a to the exiting surface 15b, and constituted so that the incident surface 15a of the fiber optical plate 15 may be positioned on the image-formation surface of the image-formation optical system. The fiber optical plate 15 is constituted to transmit an optical image made incident on the incident surface 15a so as to become an image rotated with an exiting axis as center on the exiting surface 15b. Furthermore, the fiber optical plate 15 is formed so that the exiting surface may be inclined to the incident surface and vertical to the exiting axis. |
