PURPOSE: To easily confirm a state in each stage of a first and second transfer and to quicken the extraction of the faulty part of a device by fixing an intermediate transfer body to enable the movement of an image carrier and pressing drum, in a wet type electrophotographic method for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrophotographic photoreceptor or the image carrier such as an insulator with liquid developer and transferring the obtained image to a transfer paper, a film, etc., with the intermediate transfer body. CONSTITUTION: The image forming device is constituted so that a moving guide is provided in a moving body part by the movable image carrier 2 and pressing drum 13 and the intermediate transfer body 11 having a fixed structure and the moving body part counts a pulse by a motor, to enable positioning and consists of the image carrier 2 and the pressing drum 13 capable of using the function of each part in the same functional state as that at the time of contacting, in both of positions at the time of contacting/uncontacting and the state in each stage of the first or second transfer can be easily confirmed. |
