PRODUCTION OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a process for producing a liquid crystal display device which allows reusing of even a product having a discovered cross short line defect by repairing such defect. CONSTITUTION: This liquid crystal display device is formed by holding liquid crystals between an array substrate formed with plural scanning lines and signal lines and TFTs in their intersected parts and a counter substrate formed with counter electrodes. The cross short line defect part 23b of a liquid crystal cell 23 of such device is disconnected by impressing voltage on the cross short defect part.
