PURPOSE: To secure reliability by automatically switching a navigation function and an information output function according to the driving state without any special switching and at the same time allowing a guide to have priority when the guide is required. CONSTITUTION: First, map data from a road data output part 2 and vehicle speed data and position data from a center information part 3 are used to judge whether a currently drive position is an express road or not. When the current driving position is not the express road, the driving road to a destination is a general road where the driving road to the destination most probably turns left and right relatively frequently. Therefore, a navigation execution signal is outputted to a switching circuit 4 and a navigation drive circuit 6 executes a navigation function. In the case of the express road driving, it is judged that no navigation guide is required and the switching circuit 5 executes audio function and such functions as the video of a TV which also is used as a monitor 7 and vehicle information video by an information output drive circuit 8, thus allowing a guide to have priority when the guide is required and securing reliability by automatically switching both functions. |
