A lug used for the connection of a cable and a post of a starter battery in the vehicle electrical system is provided to have enough strength not to be distorted when fastening the lug with a bolt, to make possible to fasten a bolt securely by using a hand rather than using both hands, and to lock the lug to a post more tightly by increasing tightening force. A lug(12) includes a body(10) having a hole(11) for insertion of a post, an opened section(20) of the body extended and connected to an end with gap, a joint section(30) of the body having protruded inclined surfaces(31) on both sides with wider width at lower portion than width at upper portion, a clamp(40) seated on the top of the joint section with inclined surfaces(41) matched to the protruded inclined surfaces, a fastening device(50) to fix the clamp seated on the joint section of the body, a joint plate(60) at the other side of the body along with a through hole, a bolt(71) to connect a cable lug or a battery sensor.
