PURPOSE: To provide a resetting device for a camera capable of instantaneously changing a mode set by a mechanical operating member such as a dial and a lever to a desired mode and returning it to an original mode, when the change is released. CONSTITUTION: This camera is provided with a resetting switch 25 for forcibly resetting various kinds of modes for the camera set by using an operating member such as a photometry mode switching lever 21 and an AE locking button 22 to a prescribed mode. Moreover, at the time of releasing the reset, the mode is returned to the stored set mode. Thus, the mode can be instantaneously changed into an initial state and the desired mode of a user, while keeping the simplicity of operation by the mechanical operating member and further, the change is released to return to the original state. |
