<p>PURPOSE: To provide a hologram transfer foil in which the hologram effect can be eliminated from a desired area of hologram structural layers formed on the surface of a transfer body and to improve the visibility of an image pattern. CONSTITUTION: The hologram transfer foil 10 consists essentially of a base sheet 11, release layer 12, hologram forming layer 13 having a rugged pattern 3, light reflecting layer 14 comprising a thin Sn film (low melting point metal layer), and adhesive layer 15. The hologram transfer foil 10 is used to transfer the layers (hologram structural layers) except the base sheet to the surface of a transfer body, and then, when a desired part of the hologram structural layers is heated, the reflecting layer 14 in the heated area is molten and removed to eliminate the hologram effect in this area. Thereby, the image pattern formed in this area does not overlap on the hologram pattern so that the visibility is improved.</p> |
