<p>PURPOSE: To provide a secondary battery cooling device impairing the service life of a secondary battery to a less extent, and having the capability of charging the secondary battery in a short time after the discharge thereof, and discharging the secondary battery in a short time after the charge thereof. CONSTITUTION: The charging receptacle 26 of an external charger 25 is coupled to the mounting hole 28 of a box 10 having secondary batteries 12 and so forth housed, thereby enabling a cooling fan 24 mounted on the box 10 to rotate. Also, when the temperature of the batteries 12 and so forth is high, the charger 25 is not used for charging, and operated where the temperature drop thereof occurs. In addition, the speed of the fan 24 is raised with a thermister 36, when the temperature of the batteries 12 and so forth rises after the start of a charging process.</p> |
