<p>PURPOSE: To provide a pulse interval-measuring device with high measuring accuracy. CONSTITUTION: The device is constituted of a reference clock generation circuit 101, a timer 102, an overflow flag 103, a capture 104, a comparison means 105, an operation processor 110 including a counter means and a subtraction means 108 and memories 107 and 109. The clock of the reference clock generation means 101 is counted by the timer 102, and when the timer 102 overflows, an overflow flag 103 is set. The value of the overflow flag 103 is checked and if it is set, the counter means 106 is counted up. When a pulse 111 is input from the outside, the value 102 is written in the capture 104. The previous value of the capture 104 is subtracted from this value, the overflow count is added and frequency is calculated and written in the memory 109.</p> |
