PURPOSE: To reduce a door part manufacturing time and manufacturing cost by reducing the wt. of a guard bar to enhance fuel cost and dispensing with the troublesome attaching work of the guard bar and a pad material. CONSTITUTION: The parison 11 made of a thermoplastic resin suspended in molds 9, 10 is subjected to blow molding to form a hollow molded object 4. Subsequently, during a period when the temp. of the hollow molded object 4 is a softening point or higher, the respective regions 18, 19, 20 partitioned by the utility blow pipes 12, 13 in the hollow molded object 14 are filled with prefoamed particles 24, 25, 26 and these particles are fused under heating to form a reinforcing foam layer 5 and cushioning foam layers 6, 7 to mold a foamed composite as an integrated molded object. In the foamed composite, the reinforcing foam layer 5 functions as a guard bar and the cushioning foam layers 6, 7 function as pad materials. |
