Monoalkylphosphine and method of producing the same

A monoalkylphosphine represented by the following formula (1): <IMAGE> (1) wherein m indicates 1 or 2, and n indicates an integer of 0 to 2. The monoalkylphosphine can effectively be obtained by reaction between phosphine and an alkene in the presence of an organic solvent and an anhydrous alkanesulfonic acid catalyst.
