PURPOSE: To weld a resin top with an orifice and a liquid flow path on a base by a laser beam. CONSTITUTION: A resin top 2 composed of a polysulfone and the like is provided with an orifice 2a for jetting a recording liquid and the like, and molded integrally by injection molding. The resin top 2 is positioned on a base 1 provided with electrothermic conversion elements 1b and pressed lightly by a finger F, and a laser beam L such as YAG laser is emitted from outside the resin top 2. The laser beam L is transmitted to the resin top 2 and reached a face in contact with the base 1, and the base 1 is integrated with the resin top by welding caused by the laser beam.
