PURPOSE: To improve a drive feeling of a vehicle by releasing applying an assist brake when an accelerator pedal is operated, and restarting control of applying the assist brake after stopping operating the accelerator pedal, during autocruise running of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A control unit 1 respectively connects an autocruising main switch 2, set switch 3 of setting and decreasing an autocruise car speed, resume switch 4 of resetting from once releasing an autocruise and of increasing a car speed, and an autocruise release switch 5 or the like. In the control unit 1, a cruise lamp 9 is lighted at autocruise running time, further to transmit a control signal to an electronic governor 10 of a diesel engine, and to adjust a supply amount of fuel, also to control operating an assist brake 11. Here, when an accelerator pedal is operated, applying the assist brake 11 is released, to restart control of applying the assist brake 11 after stopping operating the accelerator pedal. |
