PURPOSE: To provide an image transfer device which facilitates checking of mounting of an image receptor and image forming material and a printing state and prevents the flawing of an impression cylinder surface by an erroneous operation. CONSTITUTION: This device transfers the image formed on the photosensitive layer of the image forming material to the image receptor by introducing the image forming material and the image receptor into the nip between the impression cylinder and a transfer cylinder by rotation of the impression cylinder attached with the image forming material and the transfer cylinder attached with the image receptor. The device has an ironing roller which is freely movable in the radial direction of the impression cylinder and is contactable with the impression cylinder surface and a tray 3 which is tiltable and getable near at the front end near to the impression cylinder side or the transfer cylinder side around a fulcrum 4 above the intermediate position of the impression cylinder and the transfer cylinder. The tray 3 is partly or fully transparent. |
