PURPOSE: To provide a mold capable of simply producing a seat back for a car having a bag part of which the lower end is opened provided to the upper part of the rear surface thereof and having passenger holding expanded parts expanded to the surface side thereof provided to both side parts of the backrest surface thereof with good quality without generating a depleted part in the bag part. CONSTITUTION: In a mold of a seat back for a car consisting of a lower mold 11 having expanded part molding surface 14 made lower than other part provided to both side parts of the molding surface thereof, the upper mold 21 covering the lower mold and a core mold 21 of which the leading end is inserted in the space between one end parts of the molding surfaces of the lower and upper molds, barrier plates 17 for a raw material sump are provided to both side parts of the molding surface of the lower mold near to one end parts where the core mold is inserted so as to be turned upwardly.
