PURPOSE: To reduce image distortion by allowing a microcomputer to provide an output of a mode control signal so as to use an ABL voltage thereby obtaining optimum correction by each mode at a PIN correction circuit. CONSTITUTION: An ABL voltage being an output of an ABL circuit connecting to an FBT 3 is given to an AC/DC amplifier 10 and a microcomputer 12 gives a various mode control signal denoting each aspect ratio to the AC/DC amplifier 10, and the AC/DC amplifier 10 receives the mode control signal. Then a DC amplification factor and an AC amplification factor are adjusted for each mode so as to obtain optimum distortion correction in each mode and the various adjusted voltage is outputted to an adder 7 via the image distortion correction circuit 11 to decide the DC and AC amplification factor for each mode for the correction. Thus, optimum correction is attained to the image distortion in each mode. |
