<p>A light emitting device and a liquid crystal display device having the same are provided to effectively radiate heat from a vacuum chamber by arranging a heat delivery medium inside the vacuum chamber. A light emitting device includes a first and second substrates(12,14), an electron emission unit(110), a fluorescent layer, an anode electrode, and a heat delivery medium(20). The first and second substrates are opposed to each other to form a vacuum chamber. The electron emission unit is arranged on an inner surface of the first substrate. The fluorescent layer is formed on an inner surface of the second substrate and emits light using electrons, which are emitted from the electron emission unit. The anode electrode is formed on one surface of the fluorescent layer. The heat delivery medium absorbs and radiates the heat from the vacuum chamber. The second substrate is divided into effective and non-effective regions. The heat delivery medium is formed on the non-effective region.</p> |
