<p>A measuring apparatus is provided to protect a user from an electric shock and generation of an arc by adjusting easily a length of a measuring probe. A measuring apparatus for checking an electric device and a mechanical device includes a main body(100) having an illuminating unit and a measuring unit(300) having an illuminating unit. The illuminating unit of the main body is installed at an upper surface of a lateral surface of the main body. The measuring unit includes a handle part(340), a measuring illumination part(320) having a partial illumination source formed at a connective part of the handle part, and a lens part.
