<p>PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily connect the defect of pixels without impairing reliability. CONSTITUTION: This liquid crystal display device is constituted by disposing an array substrate 15 formed with switching elements 14 of every plural pieces of pixels (p) and a counter substrate 19 formed with a counter electrode 17 so as to face each other and holding liquid crystals 20 between these substrates. This process for producing such liquid crystal display device comprises restoring the function of the switching element 14 where the defect arises by irradiating this switching element with a laser beam L or IR light and heating the switching element to a temp. at which the function of the switching element is destroyed or below.</p> |
