PURPOSE: To provide a musical sound controller capable of variously changing a characteristic of a musical sound according to operation of an operation element. CONSTITUTION: A positive side table number storage part 32 and a negative side table number storage part 33 store any of table number A, B, C according to instruction from a CPU. A positive/negative detection part 31 outputs a signal to the positive side table number storage part 32 when an inputted MSB is '1', and to the negative side number storage part 33 when '0' respectively, and both storage parts 32, 33 output the storing table number to a table conversion part 34 in response to that. Conversion tables A, B, C with respective different pitch change characteristics are stored in the table conversion part 34. Thus, by respectively using different conversion tables A, B, C according to the operational direction of a bend wheel, the musical sounds with different characteristics are generated according to the operational direction of the bend wheel. |
