PURPOSE: To perform continuously and simply an operation wherein a contact lens is cleaned with an alkaline soln. to dissolve and remove eye fat and protein and then, it is disinfected with an acidic soln. to sterilize bacteria. CONSTITUTION: One part of an electrolysis cell 1 divided by means of an exchanging barrier 2 is used as a treating room 3 and a contact lens is placed therein and a water soln. of an inorg. electrolytically reactive substance is electrolyzed to produce at first an alkaline soln. in a treating room 3 by an electric current switching means 34 and a treating time setting means 39 and then, to produce an acidic soln. by changing the polarity and as the result; specified cleaning and disinfection are performed. |
