PURPOSE: To reduce insufficient contact by mounting a capacitor element, comprising an element body and an anode rod projecting from one side face thereof, on a lead terminal such with the peripheral surface of the anode rod being superposed on the lead terminal and then bonding the superposed lead terminal to the peripheral surface of the anode rod except the forward end part thereof. CONSTITUTION: A lead frame 6 is provided with sets of lead terminals 7, 8 facing each other at a predetermined interval along the longitudinal direction. A capacitor element 4 is mounted on the lead terminals such that the periphery of an anode rod 1 is superposed on the upper surface of the lead terminal 7 and one side face of an element body 2 is superposed on the surface of the lead terminal 8. The part where the peripheral surface of the anode rod 1 is superposed, except the forward end part of predetermined length, on the lead terminal 7 is then clamped vertically by means of two electrode rods 9 which are then conducted to weld the anode rod 1 and the lead terminal 7. The welded part is clamped vertically by means of strippers 10, 11 and then sheared by lowering a cutter 12. Finally, the connection state is recognized by means of an image processor. |
