<p>PURPOSE: To provide a heavy load transporting hand truck that can change a direction and shift sideways, simply, easily and safely in a narrow passage. CONSTITUTION: Rear wheels 2 formed of swivel wheels provided at the rear part of a pan 1, a front wheel 3 supported rotatably around a front lateral axis, and a front swivel wheel 4 are respectively supported so as to be elevated. Jacks 5-7 are provided to separately elevate the rear wheels 2, the front wheel 3 and the front swivel wheel 4, and the respective jacks 5-7 are switched by a direction switching valve 9 into a first levitation state of levitating the pan 1 from the floor face by lowering the rear wheels 2 and the front wheel 3, a second levitation state of levitating the pan 1 from the floor face by lowering the rear wheels 2 and the front swivel wheel 4, and a grounding state of grounding the pan 1 onto the floor face by lifting all the wheels.</p> |
