<p>PURPOSE: To provide a developing device suitable for a multicolor image forming device or the like giving the image of high image quality where the separation of an outer addition agent from spherical toner is controlled and the fusion and the sticking of the outer addition agent and toner to a developing sleeve and a developing blade is controlled. CONSTITUTION: This is an image forming device where an image carrier is uniformly electrostatically charged by an electrostatically charging member, and an electrostatic charge latent image is formed by irradiating the image carrier with light based on an image signal, and the electrostatic charge latent image is visualized by electrically sticking developer to the electrostatic charge latent image and a rendered image is fixed to a transfer material by adding pressure and heat to the transfer material after transferring the developed image on the image carrier on the transfer material; the toner as the image rendering agent is non-magnetic one-component toner whose shape factor SF-1 is 100-110 and that forms a substantially sphere. A developer carrier electrostatically carrying the developer and facing to the image carrier and sticking the developer on the electrostatic charge latent image on the image carrier by using the force of an electric field is provided with a layer to be coated having resin as a main component on the surface of a cylindrical metallic base plate as for the developing device.</p> |
