PURPOSE: To lighten a difference in level between a photoelectric transfer part and a scribe region by forming a film which has the same layer as a photoelectric transfer part, for one part of the scribe region separated from a color solid image pickup chip. CONSTITUTION: A red filter 34 is applied on the photoelectric transfer part 21 at the central part corresponding to the middle between a scribe 22 and a scribe 22, and also a red filter 34 is applied on the photoelectric transfer part 24 in the vicinity of the scribe 22. Such structure enables the formation of a film on the same level, putting the level of the scribe region D on the same level as the photoelectric transfer part 23. Hereby, the difference in level between the photoelectric transfer part 23 and the scribe region D can be lightened, and the photoelectric transfer part 23 at the end of the chip and the color filter 34 on the photoelectric transfer part 21 at the center of the chip can be applied in the same thickness. |
