PURPOSE: To realize excellent drainage performance and a lowering of generated noise. CONSTITUTION: A groove arrangement assembling a circumferential main groove 1 and a large number of inclined main grooves 2, 2' is made. The inclined main grooves 2, 2' have a wide tread part of an aspect ratio of 0.8 or less, reach a break point P near to an outer end of a tread part T with a sharp angle of 70 deg. materially against a meridian of a tire from inner ends 10, 10' of the adjacent inclined grooves, and they make a kinked line to open to the side by tread end edges (e), (e') by way of reducing inclination. Projection of the inclined main grooves 2, 2' against a flat surface including the central circumference of the tread part T is made by arrangement to overlap with projection of similar projection of a plural number of the other inclined main grooves 2, 2' sequentially adjacent to it against one set of the inclined main grooves 2, 2', and thereby, single-flow tandem type tread land parts 5, 5' formin a pair left and right of the tread part and not materially parted by the grooves in the circumferential direction, and it has groove width equivalent to 0.015-0.065 times against tread part width TW. |
