PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration or breakage of an inverter circuit even when an abnormality is caused in cooling function by detecting the operating sound of a cooling fan for cooling a heating coil and the inverter circuit, and controlling the inverter circuit. CONSTITUTION: A high frequency current is supplied from an inverter circuit 15 to a heating coil 2 to induction-heat a cooking pan 1. The heating parts of the heating coil 2 and the inverter circuit 15 are cooled by a cooling Yarn 5 having a control means 16 to prevent the deterioration. In such an inverter applied equipment, a fan operating sound detecting means 17 for detecting the operating sound is arranged in the cooling fan 5, and the operating sound received by a microphone is converted into voltage followed by rectification, and sent as a signal to the control circuit 16. When the detected operating sound is less than a prescribed sound volume, the operation of the inverter circuit 15 is stopped through the control means 16. Thus, even when an abnormality is caused in cooling function, the deterioration and breakage of the inverter circuit is prevented to enhance the durability of the inverter applied equipment. |
