PURPOSE: To provide a bellows pipe preventing growth of crystalline grains in the vicinity of a bead part owing to electro-resistance welding by a method wherein the bellows pipe is formed of a hoop material made of thin ferrite stainless containing electro-resistance welded Si only in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION: A bellows pipe 1 consists of a cylinder body 2 and a bellows part 3. Since the bellows pipe 1 has a vibration absorbing function, the bellows pipe is used in a piping in the engine room of an automobile and other field. In this case, the bellows pipe 1 is formed of a hoop material made of thin ferrite stainless containing electro-resistance welded Si only in a range of 1-3wt.%. The bellows pipe 1 has at least one surface on which an Ni-plated layer may be formed. This constitution provides a bellows pipe 1 which is constituted to prevent growth of crystalline grains in the vicinity of a bead part due to electro-resistance welding and provide excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
