摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal image device capable of obtaining a high quality image without a flicker. CONSTITUTION: This liquid crystal display device is constituted so that a first display electrode 2 electrically connected to electrodes of plural switching elements 1 formed on a substrate 10 is provided on the upper part of the switching element, and a charge storing capacitor 3 electrically connected to the first display electrode is formed under the first display electrode, and a light reflection film 15 is formed on the upper part of the first display electrode, and a second transparent display electrode 4 is formed above the light reflection film, and a liquid crystal 5 is enclosed between the second display electrode and the light reflection film. Then, an adjustment insulation film 24 for adjusting an applied voltage is provided on the liquid crystal side surface of the second display electrode 4. Thus, the adjustment insulation film 24 acts electrically similarly to the light reflection film 15, and electric symmetry between both electrodes is secured, and the occurrence of the flicker is suppressed even when drive voltages have mutually reversed polarities alternately.</p>
