摘要 PURPOSE: To ensure high heat resistance in oxygen-free atmosphere by immersing a conductive polymer into water or heavy water or exposing the conductive polymer to inert gas containing moisture thereby obtaining a conductive polymer containing moisture. CONSTITUTION: A highly reliable solid electrolytic capacitor excellent in heat resistance can be obtained by simply immersing a capacitor element having a conductive polymer layer of polyol, for example, into water or heavy water or exposing the capacitor element to inert gas containing moisture. In other words, the conductive polymer contains moisture and has structure shown by [formula I] or [formula II], where M represents a conjugated system monomer unit, X represents a known pair ion, p represents any number smaller than 0.5, n represents any number larger than 2, and 0.003<m<0.05. A polymeric solution is subjected to electrolytic cleaning to obtain a polypyrol film which is then crushed (S1-3), pressure molded and heated in nitrogen atmosphere (S4-5).
