PURPOSE: To obtain a gyroscope in which the warming-up time can be nullified substantially. CONSTITUTION: The gyroscope comprises-an airtight unit for holding a main section, i.e., an oscillatory section, and a detecting section in a dry atmosphere. The airtight unit comprises a hermetically sealed chamber 45 encapsulating dry inert gas. Drying agents 46, 47 may be inserted into the hermetically sealed chamber 45. Since the main section of the gyroscope is held in dry atmosphere, the time being elapsed after starting the gyroscope before setting the output thereof can be substantially nullified. |
